Hi, I’m Lisa.

I’m a passionate Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying). I specialize in grief therapy, perinatal mental health, and infertility therapy. These areas are especially close to my heart, as I believe that the challenges they present touch people on a profound level. Grief, whether fresh or lingering from years past, reflects the depth of the human experience. I find it incredibly fulfilling to guide clients through their grief, helping them to embrace its complexity. Similarly, I’m deeply invested in supporting individuals navigating the emotional rollercoaster of pregnancy, pregnancy loss, postpartum challenges, and the struggles of infertility. I understand that these experiences can be overwhelming, and I’m here to offer a safe and nurturing space to process those emotions. My approach to therapy is rooted in Attachment Theory, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and Internal Family Systems. These frameworks allow me to provide compassionate and personalized care that respects each person’s story.

As a mom of four, my family has taught me so much. Parenthood has deepened my understanding of connection, patience (four kids will do that!), and love. The ups and downs of raising a family often mirror the complexities we explore in therapy. My personal journey enhances my empathy, especially when supporting clients through perinatal and fertility challenges, as I help them navigate the hopes and struggles of these significant life transitions.

I believe connection is key to life, whether it’s the connection we have with others or the one we cultivate within ourselves. Therapy, for me, is about creating a space where we can explore those connections and foster emotional growth. Learning and growing are essential aspects of life, and therapy is a unique space where both can happen in a supportive way.

Outside of work, you can find me enjoying quality time with my husband and kids. Whether it’s paddleboarding on a calm lake, getting my hands dirty in the garden, or enjoying too much coffee. These personal passions help me stay grounded and remind me of the importance of balance in life—something I try to bring into my therapy practice as well.

If you’re looking for a therapist who values connection, empathy, and genuine support, I’d love to hear from you. Let’s work together to navigate the challenges you’re facing, and find a path towards healing, growth, and well-being.
